"Booking It" through States One Month at a Time

Come join us as our students travel around the United States, making one stop a month. We have found a very fun and unique way to make learing about the United States enjoyable for our students. It is called "Booking It". We use a method of lapbooking all the information our children have learned from the lesson they have been taught for the day. Lapbooking allows each child to use their own creativity and personal learing styles to create their own personal lapbook about their learning experience for the day. The students are able to take the
lapbooks home to be given freedom to add more to their book.

state demographics
capital
largest cities etc
imports/exports
culture
environmental impacts and issues
agricultural issues
famous and important dates to remember
and much much more!
