Homeschool Cooperative Educating in Central Florida
What does it cost to join?
Membership in HCECF is a low $24.00 per family per year, with scholarships available to those in need, so that homeschoolers of various economic means can participate and benefit from the groups resources. HCECF participates in several programs to help offset the costs of group activities and for purchasing equipment and supplies for the groups use. These include schoolpop, labels for education, box tops for education, etc. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated. Even small donations of $1 per month per family (12 additional dollars a year), when combined with other families' donations can go a long way towards gaining new equipment and supplies for the groups use and improving your homeschool support group.

Participate in these!
Box Tops for Education offers four easy ways to earn cash for HCECF through everyday activities: buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card. Clip, Shop, Charge and Enter!
Clip - Clip Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite General Mills products and bring them to any HCECF event for collection. Complete product list at http://www.boxtops4education.com/pdfs/products.pdf. Collect Box Tops for Education from General Mills boxes. Neatly trim off the little square part of the box/package that says “Box Tops for Education.” Please neatly trim the little squares if possible, so we can get the box tops processed and submitted to General Mills faster. Bring Box Tops for Education to any HCECF event. HCECF receives approximately 10 cents for each Box Top for Education that we mail back to them.
Shop - Start every online shopping trip at the Box Tops Marketplace. HCECF earns up to 8% of each qualifying purchase at no additional cost to you.
Charge - Use your Box Tops Visa® card and a full 1% of each purchase goes back to HCECF. You’ll enjoy a low APR and no annual fee.
Enter - Watch the Box Tops for Education web site for sweepstakes that you can enter for a chance to win even more Box Tops for Education to support HCECF's programs.
2. CAMPBELL'S LABELS FOR EDUCATION
Clip and save UPC's and caps from participating Labels for Education Brands. Participating brands include Campbell's soups, Franco-American, Healthy Request, Pepperidge Farm, Pace, Prego, Swanson, and V-8 products. Some codes are worth 5 points! Bring labels or lids to any HCECF event, so we can recieve free educational supplies.
Shop at HCECF's Cafe Press store for fun homeschool merchandise. We do requests! You want something else on one of the products shown, just holler at us!
4. CURRCLICK
Currclick is an online retailer of educational material and audio books in downloadable format. HCECF earns 10% on every purchase made through our affliate link to Currclick. Previously known as homeschoolestore.com
5. CRANIUM FUN-RAISING
HCECF was selected as one of just 75 organisations nationwide to participate in this program for the 2007-2008 year. Watch for our game night fundraising event this fall for all homeschoolers! It will be a great oppurtunity to pick up some educational holiday gifts at awesome prices!
6. DONATE
We're not above begging, PLEASE help us to continue to add new oppurtunities for area homeschoolers at reasonable costs and offer scholarships to those in need. If you'd like to earmark your donated funds for a specific program, just tell us! Supplies and in kind donations are gladly accepted. Be sure to check out our Partners in Home Education Page.
HCECF, like all homeschool groups - we just tell you about it! - earns a rebate on each FPEA membership purchased through HCECF that meets certain guidelines. The specific guidelines can be seen on the FPEA's group application. We do NOT qualify for the '100% FPEA Membership rebate' because we will not require FPEA membership of our members like some groups do. We do qualify for the 'Digital Submission rebate'. Group members whose FPEA membership is on one of the qualifying submissions for this rebate, when the rebate is made available to the group, you have a choice of what will be done with it - recieve cash, apply to next years FPEA membership or donate it to the group. Please consider donating it to HCECF; you can even earmark those funds for a specific program within HCECF!
