Scheduled 2008 Drum Building Workshops
Friday, May 2nd, 2:00 pm - KIDS & TEENS DRUM WORKSHOP (either 8", 12" or 18" size octagonal head ashiko drums or the NEW 6" bongos can be made)
Saturday, May 3rd, 2:00 pm - KIDS & TEENS DRUM WORKSHOP (either 8", 12" or 18" size octagonal head ashiko drums or the NEW 6" bongos can be made)
*If you want to build a drum and these times are not doeable, please contact denny. It is possible that special arrangements can be made during this weekend.

Nightly Community Drum Circle Bonfires in the Friendship Circle
Friday Night, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday Night, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Sunday, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm (site closes at 8:00 pm)
Any other time people are moved to drum!
The park closes at 8:00 pm on Friday & Saturday, even if you are not camping you can stay past the official closing time and enjoy the drum circles. You'll be able to leave through the night only gate.
*per park rules, drumming stops at 10 pm.
**Nightly drum circle bonfires are free for all drummers, bring out your new drums, ones you previously made, or your favorite drum and join in the fun. Donations of firewood, marshmellows, smores, etc will be greatly appreciated by all. HCECF also collects Campbell's Labels for Education and General Mills' Box Tops for Education to offset the cost of this weekend, please bring them to us if you have them. HCECF will be building drums again in the Spring of 2008; workshop dates Friday, May 2nd, 2008 & Saturday, May 3rd, 2008!
Be sure to bring your drums out to the drum circles and re-enactment events to play!
If you ordered a drum for the 2007 workshop and were unable to attend, please arrange for shipping of your drum kit at your expense by June 30, 2007 by emailing us. Drums not claimed by this time, will be donated to HCECF as loaner drums at our drum circles.
